UK Trade & Investment bring the Chinese Media to profile the Inclusive Fitness Initiative @ EIS Sheffield

The Inclusive Fitness Initiative (IFI) has been selected as one of 12 programmes for UK Trade & Investments "12 for 2012: Winning with Innovation" project focusing attention on UK designed products that have, or will revolutionise sport.

Since China’s successful bid for the 2008 Olympic games, their economy has witnessed a rapid development within the sports goods market. The IFI is exhibiting their Stage 2 accredited fitness equipment to the Chinese media on Monday 31st March 2008 at the English Institute of Sport, Sheffield.

The equipment on display will be from a range of UK based suppliers & manufacturers from the fitness industry who have made a commitment in making their equipment accessible, by designing to IFI Stage 2 Equipment Standards.

The interest shown by the Chinese media with the Inclusive Fitness Initiative showcases the important work being undertaken by the IFI, making the fitness experience accessible for grassroots participants through to Olympic and Paralympic athletes.
