English Institute of Sport Sheffield
At the English Institute fo Sport Sheffield, we strive to exceed expectations while delivering fundamental business processes which enable customers to visit a safe, clean, well maintained building with programmed activities, which meets the needs of the local community, these include:-

Objectives & Delivery
• To secure the Management agreement for SIV with Sport England
Health & Fitness
• To attract and maintain a membership base of 440 users per month.
• To obtain Inclusive Fitness Registration on one of the 3 categories.
• To enter for Flame Awards and improve on 2008/09 venue assessment.
Programming and Development
• To deliver the objectives set out in the SIV Sports Plan
• To continue to work with the current NGBs and identify new partnership opportunities including international training camps.
Events
• To attract 30 National/International events per year.
• To attract at least 7 televised events during the year.
• To hold at least 10 events (days) per year.
• To continue to work with the current NGBs and identify new partnership opportunities including major events.
• To generate 17,000 bed nights from event usage.
Quest & Continuous Improvement
• To achieve a Quest score of 85% or better and to undertake 2 self assessment questionnaires.
• To maintain a Health and Safety audit score of 88%.
Marketing & Sales
• Increase income and general attendance by 5% by 2010. Achieve this through electronic communications with potential and current customers of EISS by advertising all the facilities on offer to the public.
• Increasing cross communication to customers about all the sports and activity on offer
• Conduct an annual tenants survey and achieve 90% satisfaction in all areas.
• To put in place a campaign plan for all activity and a performance review which will assist in the development of future marketing promotions.
Sport England Strategy
The English Institute of Sport Sheffield is committed to helping Sport England delivery their 2008-2011 strategy
In summary the startegy is commited to:-
• 1m people doing more sport by 2012-13
• A reduction in post-16-drop-off in at least five sports by 25% by 2012-13
• A quantifiable increase in satisfaction (actual measures to be determined)
• Improved talent development systems in at least 25 sports
• A major contribution to the delivery of the five hour sport offer engaging 5-19
year olds in sport
