EIS Sheffield boasts an impressive Athletics Arena complete with a 200m indoor running track, high jump, long jump, pole vault, shot put, hurdles and other activities.

Indoor Running Track
You can turn up and use the indoor track with no need to book in our usual opening times. This is subject to availability.

Cost: £3.50

Members of the Gym at EISS can use the indoor track for FREE.

EISS is home to a number of Athletics clubs:  

 Sheffield Athletics Academy

 Tuesdays 5pm-6:30pm

We have indoor facilities that meet international standards and are used by professional athletes and the general public for recreation and training.

We also recognise that if talent or skill is expertly tutored at an early age, many children and young adults are able to reach significant personal goals. Our Athletics Academy is for ages 5-12 years.

We also have special sessions for disabled children who want to take part and develop their athletic skills.

Teen Athletics

Ages 11-16: Thursdays 6-7.30pm

Older children can try a range of track and field events to see what they enjoy the most. Sessions are open to everyone from beginners to experienced athletes. Talented individuals may be asked to attend advanced sessions.

Open Athletics Sessions

All Ages: Monday to Friday 5-10pm

£3.50 for adults / £2.50 for Juniors / FREE to fitness members

Experience the energy and excitement of our athletics arena at these sessions which are designed to develop athletic ability for all ages and abilities.

Our trained coaches are on hand to motivate and encourage you to push yourself that bit further.

PLEASE NOTE:
NO UNDER 16'S CAN ACCESS THE ATHLETICS TRACK WITHOUT A COACH.
